Lemmy Kilmister, in varsta de 70 de ani, fusese diagnosticat cu o forma agresiva de cancer in urma cu doar doua zile. Apropiatii au declarat ca starul s-a stins acasa, in fata jocului sau video preferat, relateaza The Guardian.Trupa Motorhead a anuntat prin intermediul unui mesaj publicat pe Facebook ca solistul a aflat ca sufera de cancer abia pe 26 decembrie. Lemmy, pe numele sau complet Ian Fraser Kilmister, a pus bazele trupei Motorhead in 1975, in care a activat atat ca solist, cat si ca basist. Trupa s-a bucurat de un succes imens, avand la activ 23 de albume de studio, iar cel mai cunoscut single al lor este hitul "Ace of Spades", lansat in 1980.
